Go back to natural, not normal.

So many folks are under the strange impression that with a jab to the arm and wearing five masks at a time, we will go back to how life was before COVID. I’m here to break some bad news to you - there is no going back. If you were to truly reflect though, you would ask yourself - why would you want to go back and what would you be going back to? Over the past couple years, many of us have had these spiritual awakenings and stirrings that we had never before experienced and they will not allow us to turn back. Although uncomfortable, these stirrings have turned on a light switch that has pushed us away from our conveniences and complacency.

We were so accustomed to the folks-on-top telling us what to wear, what to eat, how to dress, and how to be. And we are slowly accepting that none of the “advice” given has been in our better interest. We are unlocking the hidden keys to our health and wellness, by replacing processed foods with healthy options and using natural herbs and remedies instead of pharmaceuticals to treat common maladies.

We are taking back our lives one piece at a time. We are tapping into our divine courage to call out racism and evil practices and learn who we truly are as God’s people. Pre-COVID, we were pre-occupied with busy schedules and so detached from our spiritual connection to God. Last year, we were forced to sit still, listen, read, and reflect. As tempting as it might be, let us not seek to go back to what was perceived as normal. Instead, let us journey back to a natural way of living - being one with nature and self.
