Since I was a little girl, I have always loved amusement parks. Interestingly, when I go now on occasion, I only dare to venture on about 4 rides, but NO roller coasters for me! What I find most fun is the atmosphere, the food, the laughter, the sounds and smells.

Sometimes in life, we experience situations that are rather challenging - whether a heartbreak, sickness, or stressful new circumstances, it is all par for the course as we journey to higher heights. Albeit unpredictable, it is the anticipation of great moments that make life interesting.

The roller coaster is often used as a descriptor of what our journeys will look like. There are ups and downs, pain and laughter, screams and shouts of joy. We are constantly in transition, moving to the next best thing with the greatest adventure on the horizon.■
